Dear Heart,
You accept all things and endure all things. The love you contain is so grand not even the depth of the sea can keep you. Therefore you yearn to share this love. Not just any love but a romantic love.
Well, stop, just stop.
Think for a moment, about me and you, what we have gone through in our lives. Early on you almost stopped beating, our mothers womb kept us alive. Escaping war, your love for our father kept everyone calm, when he was missing.
We said, “O pai está a vir” (dad is coming) with confidence we spoke, we were only 2 years old. Three hours later Dad came from a distance, everyone saw him. I wasn’t surprised.
Heart can you not see we are meant for greater things, please wait for paradise. I know you can love more than anyone I ever met. Your love is true, real and warm, as the sun on a breezy autumn day.
You see the goodness in those you want to love, but it’s not your place. They are not ready for you. You belong to Jehovah, your place is his temple, your love to share in the good news. You know there is place created for you there, you know Jah has someone for you.
It’s not the time, Dear Heart, be patient, see your worth. You may love like no other, wait. It was meant for you to receive the greatest love, we lived for this, we fought for this, we survived for this.
Song of Solomon 8:6,7
“Place me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm; because love is as strong as death is, insistence on exclusive devotion is as unyielding as She′ol is. Its blazings are the blazings of a fire, the flame of Jah. Many waters themselves are not able to extinguish love, nor can rivers themselves wash it away. If a man would give all the valuable things of his house for love, persons would positively despise them.”
Please wait, do not incline yourself, love yourself, you are not alone. I shall fill myself with Jah’s words, our love will be focused on the treasures for the kingdom. I promise He will tell us the time to love, we belong to Him, Jah has never failed.
