Moments passing by
Just as the rain
Gradual wetness
On the street concrete
Even then it couldn’t soften
Her resolve
To want the best
To accept her worth
And nothing is time lost
When knowledge drizzles
Gradually making its way
To make decisions
Gradual Rain
She rather risk being wet
Than regretting never knowing
Walking through the field
Wild flowers
Colors blowing in the wind
She brushed both her hands
Through the tall grass
Looking up
Her tear filled eyes
Captured the sight
Of a magnificent bird
Wing span
Covered the clouds
And so she raised
Her arms
With tiptoed feet
She danced
Her eyes closed
Wishing that just
For a moment
She too could fly
And go
Where she left her heart
Held tight in the embrace
Of his hands
And so she danced
And tears flowed
With this movement
She watered the field
With her dreams
In order for a precious pearl
to come into existence
A grain of sand is lost
In the mouth of a clam
With the constant churning
Of this irritation, over time
A pearl emerges
In order for a priceless diamond
To transform from rock
For hundred of years
With shifting of the earth
Weight of burdening upon
Deep in the darkness
Finally found and polished
We give the value
None of these chose
To go through the journey
We also are like these
And worth more
Once going through
A rough time
Irritation
Darkness
We must spring forward
There is greater purpose
For our existence
Most likely not for
Our own benefit
But for others
Our presence
As a pearl, diamond
We make them
Glisten and shine
Our sparkle is by design
Even more significant
With the passing of time
Life has taken me to
Historic places
Mesmerizing places
Places of dreams
Nothing compares to
Hidden Places
The places that mimic
Where my heart and mind
Travel in the quiet of the day
Places that transform me
To the person I want to be
Forever
No care
Endless joy
No worry
Endless peace
Always keeping this place
In the safety of my being
Sometimes for a brief moment
Others are allowed to see and feel
This Hidden place
It is very rare
Then there are times
I create one
And forever that place
Becomes a hidden place
Only to be seen and felt
By me
And given as gift to someone
Only if its accepted
Will they travel there too
All the burden is melted away
With one breathe Exhaled
The day is new
Translucent images of
People passing through
Cross walks of life
Street lights of
Quick decisions
Changing venues
Of existence
Just when your thoughts
Seem to be overflowing
With memories long past
Moments as shadows
Present situations
Emotions that manifest
In acts of passion
Flickering through reality
And you’re done
A sparkle lights up
UnExtinguishable fire
Slowly stand back
Good thing
When there is
Such a thing
Purifying prayer
Protecting the heart
Is an exhausting affair
