Belief in the wait

As layers of life are peeled away

No important time in this way

To believe in the wait

Moments tick away and all

You can see is what occurred

And not what may yet to happen

Hold on to the silence 

For when the chaos of life 

Takes hold

A wish for it to return

To not bother anyone 

But always there for everyone 

Even with so many words

There will be times

There is no answer, no reply

Belief in the wait

For the sun does not rise 

When you want it to

It’s timing is set

And will rise when

You need it to

Same as love 

Shall believe in the wait

Until there is no reason left 

Till the next sunrise 

For now I will dream 

Within the sunset….
